Hey Trevally,

A real jewel that you have created. The only problem I have is that the game crashes every time I use the script a second time. First time works like a charm, second time crash! I run SH5 on Windows 8 and have the following mods enabled and in the order given:
1. accurate german flags
2. Mighty fine crew mod 1.21 stock face
3. NDB, NDH OM#1 - no dialog indicator
4. fx_update_0_0_21_ByTheDarkWraith
5. NewUIs_TDC_7_4_2_DWR
6. Real Environment - Revision 3
7. Trevally TDC Help v2
8. Open Horizons II_full v2.2
9 BRF 1.3 full

Mayby it is a conflict or something or other. Hope u can help.

Could you run C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Applications\Dbgview.exe and try it again.

I also don't believe that FX update and BRF are in any way compatible.

Yep, these mods don't compatible at all.. there is FXU - BARF fix, but it's outdated now, it was made for earlier versions of FXU..

Mweeeh...started crashing again!! So I am at a total loss here. I added a couple of other mods, graphic ones, and it started again. Thought that one of the new mods were the culprit but alas. After I restored the 'working' combination it still crashed.

So back to the original question....HELP! :wah:

:hmmm:

What is your mod list now?
Did you start a new career/bunker save etc after change?
does the ctd happen in a historical mission?
Does the ctd happen during the script run or when a torp hits/ship sinks?
A description of the events can help:up:

3. Open horizons II 2.2

5. NewUIS TDC New radio messages german
6. Travally TDC Help
7. NDB. NDH No dialog indicator

I start from a bunker save.
The crash occurs during script operation. The crash occurs after the target speed sequence. I am not sure if it is the excact same point but Always with the second run though. So to recap. The first run and sinking is oke then when engaging the script a second time the crash occurs. It also happens if I engage the script for the same ship. So it just seems linked to starting the script a second time.

If you need more or some other test let me know.

Will try. I forgot to mention that my troubles are with the solution finder. Last night I decided to just use the AOB and range finder. Played al night and no crash.

I will check the script to see if I can find why this happens.
Until then, when you want to run a second solution on the same target - try to unlock the target (lock on to another ship if poss) as this may reset
