Well haven't bought the game yet so I can't delete app.for.
I am planning to get it off of steam, and will my ram work with this game with lag spikes here and there.

Ok I'm up to 8.70 GB of free space.
I may just jump the gun and buy it it's only $10.

The more the merrier...

You may want to free a few GB's for virtual memory as well.

Nrsw2w3 04-15-11 06:23 PM

If I can get it up to 10 Gb would that work? Thanks for all the help.
I'm starting to think I have more RAM then I think because I can run sims 3 semi-well.

the game shouuld fit, but mods will swell that folder up past 10GB, so you will just have to see qwhat you can get away. The dual core is good, the video card might not be enough. I would get the game and try. I have seen it for 5.00, try amazon:salute:

I'll just jump the gun and buy if it doesn't work it doesn't work. Thanks for all the help.
And this forum is much better than some others I visit.
On those forums when I asked how to check RAM I would have gotten a few colourful metaphors thrown my way.
Just checked and saw sims 3 takes 1.5 -2.0 gb of ram, and I can run sims 3.
So I'm pretty sure I have more than 960 Mb of ram.

also, i dont know what your budget is, but RAM is fairly inexpensive. I msure we can figure out what kind yours takes if it comes to it. Play the game, get hooked and then you'll see....

Well, I have 1,37 GB RAM and I can run stock SH3 without any problems, even with some programs running in the background. Haven't tried GWX though.
