Most definitely....the Heckler and Koch MP5 is what most of the firearms details are trained to use....no automatic mode though.

I meant that I had never heard of it being issued to police forces. I know the MP 40 of course (Hey, I'm German:O:).

Actually it's a fairly specific and detailed Article (not just a list) on the causes of gun-deaths, which suggests to me that a lot fewer would happen if the things weren't just laying around, providing easy access in times of stress (which is kind of obvious).

But yes, that is just my oppinion, worth no more or less than your own.
