Stormpowered = Primitive version of Steam :-?

Stormpowered constantly fails
 

Two problems.
I installed Jutland Pro and everytime i go to launch it, it launches an update that in 4 days NEVER succeeds. So Jutland won't launch.

Second problem, I'm trying to purchase the ship and map packs through the stormpowered client and I get script errors when I go to check out. Hence I cannot purchase anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
