Me too! And he does an excellent job of covering interesting topics without focusing on the sensational or negative.

I have my own rss feeds tbh, so apart from the occasional novelty news item, I have to skim-read GT titles to avoid covering the same ground twice, which is damn annoying sometimes.

It happens on some other forums I'm a member of... in some places repeated RSSing news without commenting or providing an opinion for discussion is worthy of the ban-hammer.
Not saying this should happen here, but it's definitely spam of a sort imo. Is it better or worse than some of the political threads that have been on here in the past? In it's favour, it's certainly less divisive, if nothing else.

We all have different ways to get news, and what you describe, or locate what is relevant, which is a matter of taste and interest, :yep:

It is rumoured that the police will be issued with water cannons at the next riot and a growing number of Tory MP's are urging them to get tougher.

Almost. But my partner stopped me and explained to the officer's partner that I was diabetic and my sugar was low and He was going to get me some Glucose IV to keep me from passing out. And that was the reason I pushed him over a park bench.

I'm not diabetic. :D

I still owe him more beers for saving my ass there.
