Lifeboats and Hitman's optics(or GUI) could be reason for ctds. My machine never liked them together.

Funny you should mention it. :) I had a 450 W power supply originally (computer is only a year or so old). When I got the new graphics card, it smoked the PS in about 3 minutes. :)

So I pulled a 500 watter out of another PC I had. It died about a month ago.

I went and put in a new 750 watter. Of course I used my air compressor to blow out all the dust and clean out all the heatsinks, etc.

I don't think I have a thermal issue.

Oh, also I'm running the Hi-Res mod. Doesn't show up in JSGME. Anyway, I loves me some lifeboats! :) Can't do without that. I could try another GUI but I have to run something that moves the fire button, otherwise in hi-res mode when you click out of the periscope the mouse lands on the fire button and fires a torpedo! :)

Have you used any of the Patches to allow SH3 to access more memory?
Haveing 6 gigs does nothing for SH3 unless it's patched to USE that memory.

Probably the only kind of dance that's practical, what with the close quarters and all... :03:
