Anything that can reduce tension or stress will be good for the heart. Just as simple as that.

All these studies are boll*cks!

I saw one that said that one drop of alcohol was bad for you. Red wine good no bad no good back to bad and so on. Only here in the UK we had two reports that came out on red meat, the one on Saturday said it was good for you and eat what you want. Then on Sunday another study said eating red meat was bad for you and you run the risk of bowel cancer.

All this comes down to is confuse people or get them angry while these people who make these reports make a bucket of money.

I say this, up yours.

The studies change every other year..

We probably should be more worried about the water we drink than the alcohol.

A few years ago it was dangerous to drink milk as an example,so it takes everything in moderation and reason, so you can go far....even if a beer or whiskey go down better :O:

Red Wine is good for the heart.

But I think the biggest killer for the heart is worry. My father drank red wine, with his meals, use to cut the fat of meat before cooking it, if he wasn't eating meat he was eating fish, never smoked cigarettes, drank in moderation and was fit as a fiddle ( not overweight ). But he was a worrier use to worry about everything, the cows, if it didn't rain during summer he worried the cows would starve cause of no grass, worry worry worry. In his 60's he had 3 heart attacks in a 3yr period survived them all only to die in his 70s in his sleep. But doctors asked him if he was a smoker as his heart condition was that of a long term smoker.

Don't worry be happy. Your live longer :)

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Oddly enough, that graphic of yours looks a lot a guy that used to live across the hall from me. :)

I was trying to make a joke about being "pickled" and it didn't work.

My father had a glass of wine every night and died of a massive heart attack at the age of 53. When your time is up it is up!
