There have been icebergs bigger than Belgium. I find that a comforting thought.

We're talking about Belgium, not Vatican

Belgium is a country invented by the English to annoy the French. :yeah:

No, invented by the English to annoy Germany ! :O:
;)
Sure love pommes fries and belgian chocolates though :yep:,
one of my best friends is a Belgian (hope he doesn't read this)

How do you annoy a belgian ?
Take him into a circular room, and tell him the pommes frites are in the corner.

Greetings,
Catfish

You know, did the Belgians rip off the flag from Germany or vice versa?

Belgium is a little but great country ...there are worst places to be born and live.....

Really ...? Is there a problem in my country ? I don't see or feel any difference in my daily life..... with or without failing politicians.

Only problem i have with the whole system in Belgium is that it still is obligatory to go vote and the politicians don't have to do enough efforts to convince us to go vote . I didn't vote last june for this inpasse between our flemish and french communities ....that's for sure .

Meanwhile ...some Belgians react with actions like this

My Nan used to go to Belgium a lot, she first went there at the end of the war as part of the rebuilding effort I think since she was a Land Girl, she had the time of her life out there, and used to go back there a lot.

How did you get the knowledge about my secret plans for Belgium?

Tchocky 02-20-11 02:07 PM

Is your other secret plan to turn poland into a lake?

Sailor Steve 02-20-11 06:25 PM

I disagree. If Belgium disappeared tomorrow, we would lose one of the oldest, greatest racing circuits on the planet.

Of course since they cut it in half and rendered it as mundane as every other track, I kind of wish somebody would...

I think this was your secret plan, if my old brain remembers correctly... ;)

My secret plan includes Switzerland, tons of explosives, and a spirit level. The people in southern Germany will thank me that they can see till Italy.
But shhh, don't tell anyone!

Leveling Belgium (pun half intended) would be a blessing to our cars. Ever driven on a Belgian freeway? I hope not:dead: You really don't need any border signs cause you can easily feel when you're in Belgium. In the Netherlands the highways are a smooth layer of asphalt, cross the border and this instantly changes into bumpy, badly (if at all) maintained concrete. Heck, the Belgian freeways are of worse quality than the average back street here:dead:
