Where I live the buses used to not run at all on Sundays. Now they do - once every hour. Fine in summer, not so much when it's snowing.

Where I live the nearest market is several miles away. Since I don't have a car I have to make several trips, on the bus, instead of just one.

Any more sage advice on the wonders of government spending?

In all honesty I'd prefer car than public transportation too. One thing that I appreciate with owning a car is privacy you can talk anything you want in your car while well if you do that in a bus or a city train everybody around will be able to hear your conversation.

The second thing I hate that it takes much longer to reach a destination so it's not actually time efficient.

Beautiful pictures of cars I'm fairly long so no comfort is there, for my part

Now I hope people will begin to see public transportation as something that's actually preferable than looking stupid in one of those . . .
