Funny, I was about to put up something similar!

Although I'm completely for Extra-Centric Thought and The Petrov, and against Botulism and all manner of orange juice (except home-squeezed).

I'm for:

Reason.
Honesty.
Integrity.

This unfortunately leaves me without much to vote for.

Against:

Anyone who believes that he has the right to save me from myself, or do anything "for my own good".
'Isms' of any kind.

I won't argue with that, but a lot of it depends on how you define the term. I'm for a free market, but captitalism as a philosophy is less than ideal as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong - so is every other 'ism' philosophy I've met.

Perhaps we have a different definition of "hippies". I protested against the Vietnam War. I went to Vietnam. I came back and protested some more. They were wrong to blame the men and women who fought there, because young people are often not ready to make the judgement calls required to go, or not go, but they were right to protest the government that sent us there in the first place, as the motives for that war are still questionable at best.

I have just as much respect for the boys who went to jail, or to Canada, as for the ones who went to Vietnam. Most of both did so based on their ideals, and most of both were willing to pay a price for those ideals.

Not all of us are ungrateful. Just call me a hippie warrior.

Well, by the_tyrant's apparent views, I think it's safe to say that his ideal form of government seems to be something like a military junta. Looking at history, those have sure always turned out, ahem, great :hmmm:

I don't support polls, but as a pacifist I have every intention of not supporting them in a peaceful manner. And I will fight to the death anyone who gets in the way of that.

Personally, I am anti capitalism and *very* anti imperialism. I'm not necessarily anti war, although I do think that the amount of wars should be brought to an absolute minimum. That doesn't mean we should do everything to avoid them though. Sometimes a war is necessary.

In the Netherlands we are reasonably Socialistic, but we aren't poor at all.

This is an individual who starts threads so he can talk about how much time he spends trolling on other forums and how many false IDs he's created for just that purpose. Can't imagine why anyone would assume he's any more "real" here than he is by his own admission anywhere else.

IMO the only thing to be taken less seriously than a troll is a troll who brags about what an awesome troll he is. :haha:

National unity does wonders to a country

Think about it, When a country is united, wars could be won, technology could be, the economy could develop. A weak country could become a world power

A country without unity is a recipe for disaster(Italy in WWII, Russia in WWI, america in Vietnam)
