Please define how bad 'terrible' is?
Since you have a Nvidia (GeForce) card you should have the option to let the driver scale the image up to maximum native resolution. Right-click on the desktop, there should be "Nvidia Control Panel" halve way up the list. Click it. Then in the tree-list on the left under "Display/Adjust desktop size and position". At 2. choose one of the top 3 options for scaling. If that is set then you should be able to set the resolution back to what you had. If you use the setting with fixed aspect ratio then circular objects remain circular instead of ellipses. But there are very few non-widescreen resolutions that do not conform to the 4:3 ratio, or simply look very similar, so it might not be necessary. |
