Pushed back to June next year now. Such a shame. Still, Rome wasn't built in a day, and I'm sure Peter will make further improvements to the rocket in the time he has. He is quite the designer and has an excellent team. :yeah:

Whoa - Peter and his friends even made it into today's breakfast TV and ... into the all-knowing, never-failing mighty Spiegel: http://www.spiegel.de/wissenschaft/m...0.html#ref=rss
The article isn't worth the read as it is full of the usual arrogance but the pics are nice.

Someone who can build a submarine cannot be underestimated

Quotes from Peter and Kristian and ING.DK (The most reliant source of information - as I learned yesterday)

Thanks. I couldn't find any information, and I don't read Danish.

Saw it on Danish TV news. Noticed the u-boat Nautilus was tied up alongside. Brought back fond memories of last year's Subsim meet.

When Peter and the lads have fixed the rocket's valve, do you think they could take a quick look at my Renault? I think the starter motor is on the way out.

Peter's quite the talent. Only a minor setback here - no space program started off without teething troubles, and most have started with much worse troubles than this! Impressive how quick he got there, too - only last year I was seeing just early videos of his small-scale rocket engine test.

I know it's gonna fly next year, the team will make it happen :yeah:

And maybe since next year's Subsim meet is due for Europe, we can have a delegation go and watch the launch?

Attach the rocket to the car, and light! That will get your car going!

Hope the second time is a goer!:yeah:
