Thanks everyone for the kind words.
We still dont know much about what happened, the family is mostly pulled together and informed at this point though.

Thanks. As the shock of this begins to settle a bit I'll see what i can come up with or if that is even something they would want to do.
At this point we are all in different parts of the world, starting with his wife and kids who are in Germany.
All i can say is thank God for military wives... that young lady's house is FULL right now.
We have one of our troops getting married in a few weeks... another has just received orders to Afghanistan - very tough pill to swallow for his wife and twin sons right now.
I'll say this.
He was a good man, and a strong real Christian who knew Christ - and in his words "I love being a soldier."
