I can't really tell if you're joking or not...but I hope you're not, because I tend to agree...as a great catlover, I find this story to be quite sickening.

Then ofcourse, that it is a cat has little relevance really. Not overly fond of dogs for example, but I'd be just as mad to see her throw a dog in there as a cat.

I'm more of a dog-lover my self, but I am always horrified at stories of animal abuse. :cry:

This is the strangest thing watching the video.

Here is this lady "la la la... oh look a kitty" the kitty hops up on the wall "nice kitty" the lady pets it a few times. "Oh look a trash can... I know I'll put the cat in it !" plunk in goes the cat and the woman saunters off.

Really bizzare flow of thought there.

You know what? This might be harmless venting but the woman is obviously ill. It is not a sane act.

What disturbed me even more was that A) The cat's owner set up a face book page to find the woman, with the obvious intent of causing her distress. B) Loads of other people set up facebook pages along the lines of "Lets execute the lady who put the cat in the bin".

C)The guy had set up CCTV to watch his car as it was repeatedly getting bashed by accident.

I don't like cruelty to animals, but I think this incident shows just how nasty and vindictive we are becoming as a race, fuelled by the likes of facebook.

And I didn't mean I like cats more than dogs : I'm a dog lover at heart. But I'd say I hold the whole Animal kingdom in high respect.
