Am currently running it on win XP. When game was brand new, first install was on win 98. This old beast would barely run it. Even had it on my new build (win 7 64bit) for a short time, but for ease of operation (least amount of BS) and absolutely no installation issues, it's win XP all the way. I use the new machine for new stuff, and run all my old crap (old Five Star titles that I dearly love) on XP. Those old games don't mix with 64bit.

Windows 7 64-bit. All runs smoothly, no problems at all (engage smug mode:D).

64-bit Win 7 for me, I've had no issues (so far) running 'old' games and it runs SH3+GWX like a dream, sometimes a wet, cold, sea-sick dream, but a dream nonetheless! :yeah:

XP with SP3.

Win 7 32 bit. Used to have XP but got tired of it constantly crashing or hanging the OS up. Now on 7 it runs pretty much glitch free, only time I've CTD is when trying to open a savegame that's underwater (which is risky anyways, usually it fails to work 7 out of 8 times when saved underwater. Other than that (which is really a SH bug as I understand) it runs really sweet.

I used Vista 32 in the past but I am switching to 7 64bit Ultimate in a week

I should get three votes! Two on XP, one on Windows 7 x64. For this poll, I voted W7, as this is the PC I use most often.

I'm using 7 ultimate 64-bit now. Have to manually set resolution to SH3 default in order to avoid "Could not initialize 3D engine"

Haven't voted because there is only one choice allowed.

XP Pro 32-bit
W7 64-bit
