I don't understand it. DO you say I should do any patrol without upgrades, and they'll be back or I'll be able to buy them before the next one?

I ended first campaign recently - if I now use silentotto, will it unlock the rest of campaign permanently? Or will I have to repeat that before choosing every new campaign?

If there is any risk of losing upgrades/crew/whatever, it might be a good idea to break my first patrol in new campaign and start it anew.

Disregard that , just start the new campaign and then go to your saves and choose the inbase save that was just created . Now you can upgrade .

So, to be clear - silentotto does not break upgrades in any way?

I didn't use silentotto and I had to do exactly what you described above, in order to talk to equipment guy in the docks anyway.

And - is silentotto effect permanent?

Have a diffrent save for every campaign if you want .
