Most of my co-workers think I'm strange because I'm 25 and never bothered to drink a beer. I've only had three or four alcoholic drinks in my life. :)

Tried them all? Then I take it you have also tried La Trappe Witte Trappist, La Trappe Quadrupel, Westmalle Dubbel, Leffe Dubbel, Hoegaarden Grand Cru and Leffe Tripel?;)

He probably tried your most infamous one, Heineken which was probably enough to put any mere mortal off :DL

My exbeerience today is... Staropramen. Which begs the question; why is some European beer so... eloquently hoppy and of premium goodness? (this is rhetorical of questions) :DL

I'm sticking to my "one and done" - rule and have found myself being able to stick to it. My belief in myself is slowly returning.

It was a small glass of Newcastle brown ale, 0,3 l.

The only beers that have flavour come from the far east and what I like about them is very low gas unlike the european beers which have more gas in them than coka cola has.

No beer is not my No.1 choice

1. Cider
2. Stout
3. Bitter
4. beer

Grats, brother. :DL I've managed to cut my intake to one six-pack per month or two. There was a time when I was practically walking on beer cans and empty whiskey bottles.

:har: I know I've seen it before but it cracks me up every time.

I need to look for this at the int'l market but methinks if they had it I would've noticed already. The label would definitely be an attention getter.

OMG I just noticed "A bottle of Britain" at the bottom. :haha:

A small piece from their site:

Spitfire Premium Kentish Ale is the biggest ale success story of the last decade. Originally brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, its characteristically Kentish, hoppy flavor and risque advertising campaign has made it a firm favourite with beer lovers.

Winner of a gold medal and Best Strong Cask-Conditioned Beer of the World at the Brewing Industry International Awards, Spitfire Ale (4.5% abv) is now Shepherd Neame's biggest-selling cask conditioned ale. Spitfire Ale has Protected Geographical Indication, the same regional produce protection afforded to Champagne and Parma Ham.
