I see a bunch of wood blocks or parts of the boat on the stern planes, but nothing resembling a bottle. Also note the dumpster placed on the hull. $20 says it ended up at the bottom of the drydock the slightly humorous yet extremely dangerous way.:dead:

And not going to the junkyard! That is the bow of the new HMS Astute. The UK's equivalent of the US Virginia class SSN.

Yes, one of the first things that popped into my mind when I saw it. :DL

Indeed, very cool sub. Question: can it fire officers out of the tubes, or just the usual assortment of weaponry? :DL

[edit] Wonder if she's been modded into DW yet? Would love to drive that one.

...and before you ask it is not playable. Sorry...

krashkart 05-15-10 09:47 PM

I recall there being some issues in making non-playables playable. However, it is cool that someone got a start on that submarine already. Might be about time to reinstall the old beast (DW) and see what new stuff I can add to her. Thanks for the heads-up, TLAM. :salute:

If you look in my profile you will see several albums of the 3d models I've made for DW. :03:
