All was good for me till 1.02!! CTD everytime i open recognition book,
sometimes when i open log book
and sometimes when i hit ALT+Tab to go back to windows .
I do this because since latest patch i get bad frame rates, then i press alt+tab to windows and then back to SH5 and frames are ok again...weird!:hmmm:

If you are using a mod that is related to the rec manual - then try diabling it and then reload the game and see what happens then - check for updated mods that are 1.02 compatible.

I had one CTD, which was due to forcing AFR on my SLI card in nhancer. Actually, it wasn't just a CTD, it was a BSOD

Not using any kind of Mod related to rec manual.
Is it working for you?

Yes my rec manual is fine. MAybe you could try the opposite - find a UI mod that has changed the rec manual as an experiment and see if that puts paid to the CTD.

Not sure how to isolate the bug.
