Heh, on the way back home from San Francisco last year I got stopped at the checkpoint. I thought they were gonna confiscate my electric razor or something, but when the guy finished going through he grabbed my tube of toothpaste and told me it was too big. :lol:

I can't really complain though, that job's gotta be more than a few steps below convenience store janitor.

Steve - he should have a card that tells them about his leg. I have on for my shoulder - I beep at almost all scanners. They can check that area, then want the rest of you (through your clothing) to verify your clean. Have him check into it - may save him some hassle.
