No. Not really. Few really care unless a relative is involved. Lots a people say "support our troops" but few really do. Yellow ribbons mean squat, its just words, not deeds. Speaking as someone who was in the Military. (US Army) whether or not the OPs opinion is "correct" or not (and I have been extremely against UBI since SHV's release *ahem* escape) he certainly does disrespect whatever uniform he might wear just by his words here. And I'm not talking about the so called "racists" comments, because truthfully raghead is a far more affectionate term than I or my friends called them, but just the language and the general attitude shows disrespect of the uniform, especially after having been rebuked a number of times.
