How tempting, after working on a real PT boat and spending countless hours, is it to turn this little model into a real thing? I know you've thought about it :D
|
Semi-current status. I'm changing some things on the boat. I've torn off the torp tubes and I'm converting it to roll-off torps and I'm building a scratch 40mm bofor and scratch built mark 13 torps:o
I plan on it becoming PT-323:salute:, in honor of one of our vets. http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/4...atmodel021.jpg http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/2...atmodel022.jpg http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/6...atmodel023.jpg As of today, the motors are mounted http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/217...atmodel026.jpg ooohh, shiney! Custom build brass rudders. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/6...atmodel027.jpg |
You need outrunner motors on that PT and really make her fly! She looks great!

LOL. Most R/C shops can hook you up with the proper controller, motors and lipo battery. :DL

DOH!

It lives! It lives.

What motor are you using?
And also I wouldn't recommend the plastic propellers because they tend to bend at high RPMs |
