I never raise the scope below periscope depth, and I never raise it at any speed above 3 knots, because any faster and the vibration would make it more and more difficult to see at all. |
I'm sure when you could, planes would have no problems seeing the sub, too.

I'm just using GWX. I can see pretty good underwater with the scope, until I'm really deep anyway.

I use the periscope to search for nets when penetraiting harbors. So far I have entered in Alexandria, Malta and Loch Eve with much success!It works this way!!I have set clarity at 20 in SH3Commander. Why not? The rest are at 100%.
