I would like this to be a good cross or arcade and realism a bit like the Battlestation's games but it looks pure arcade. American type VII subs in the Atlantic and surface skimming torps don't exactly fill me with confidence.

505 games did bring the pretty good IL2 Sturmovik to the Xbox last year. The problem was multiplayer was pretty broken and they refused to patch it. For that reason I could not see me buying another game published by 505 games anyway.

The patch for the XBox was produced, but as you say 505 games decided not to send it to M$. Very annoying, as the PS3 did get that patch equivalent.

Thus a 'no sale' from me as well.

Everyone is laughing and that's great. I hate to rain on the parade but I wonder what this will mean for PC sub sims if a console sub sim is an enormous hit and sells like hotcakes? Will Ubisoft just cut to the chase?
