Whatever it's gonna be, it ain't gonna be of any real value that cost them anything. The best thing would be a patch so you could play single player offline...so I could buy the game. Something silly would be a slap in the face.

When DRM goofs again....what next.

Reminds me of the time I was playing Warhammer Online and the servers went unexpectedly down on Sunday, they gave everyone a one (1) free day to their subscriptions. :haha:

Ok, well fair enough, the gave back what people lost, but I dont think Ubi will be doing the same.

How much you want to bet they were referencing the Assassin's Creed player's and not the SH5 community when they made that announcement?

"OK guys we give the AS2 guys one of the two expansions for free, it's PC less play on that then console anyway"

"Sir, what about the Silent Hunter Community?"

"The who what now? Oh those submarine guys. Give'em a conning tower emblem or something"

I'd laugh my you know what off if they "gave" us something Modders already had last week !!!!:har::har::har::har::har:

After giving it some thought, perhaps you all are going to get a completely rewritten manual to replace the current one. :O:

Maybe it's new DRM 2 = More annoying, only this time you have to be permanently in their office to play the game, so they can see that you are not pirate :har:
It would suit the original idea to make legal customers suffer :damn:

FIREWALL 03-12-10 01:15 PM

Who are you all kidding ? They'll give you a turd dressed up as a OH Henry candy bar.

And you'll all say it tastes SWEET !!! :har::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

"New uniforms-------$5"
"New airplanes-----Free because of what happened last week"

Totally reminded me of this.

Rather fitting for this whole ordeal, i think. Maybe this "compensation" is the handbook they forgot. :har:

I think it's directed at the AC2 owners too.
I won't say no to most things for free but I have a feeling it will be useless.
What possibly could they offer us?
Although I have been proven wrong in the past.

"Dear and Valued Customers,

As compensation for our recent technical troubles, Ubisoft is happy to announce free downloadable content for all affected, namely patch 1.2. The patch will be automatically applied to the software, we hope you will enjoy this additional free content."

Maybe a Medic, I know the crew heal over time but he might help speed
up the process
