I've also got permission from Anvart to add the 'Turms Your Way' stuff to some of his work.
:up: I forgot to mention that the Animation Rig can use Motion Capture files! There's a ton of them on the Net! It makes complex Animations so much easier and faster to do. |

I did some testing for new Crew Animations.
I have a good handle on doing them. But never really followed up on it all at this time. The animations are 'twisted' in a way I've not taken time to decode as of yet. All of the other animations I understand perfectly. |

A few crew-members with some simple idle anim. would be more than enough! And what exactly is "Turm your Way" beside something with Turm :hmmm: This is probably the fourth or fifth fresh wind in SH3 Modding since it began! Almost scary!:arrgh!: |
Turms Your Way
allow any images on the turms where you want them. No more small side square placements. Paint the whole danged turm if you want. All Crew animations are controled by StateMachine Controllers. Are we a Hunter or a Stalker or Hunted and such. Each State calls an animation to effect that State. That part is simple to follow. Where it gets ugly is how the Devs 'Twisted' things. If I sit down and read the files long enuff? I'll figure out what I'm missing at this point. Once that is decoded? We could replace all Crew Animations. |

Trouble is there are so many mods now that change the turms that who knows what is compatible with what, such as Anvarts, DD's FM's!!:hmmm:

Replacing all of the Crew animations will be such a breath of fresh air, even a few simple reworks would be great. I am also awaiting your collaboration with Anvart to bear fruit.

Hi privateer, great to see you back mate,
Really excited to read about your projects and particularly your talks with Anvart about your Turm Your Way and his work. The "perfect" turm for me would be a combination of the following, in no order :) Turm Your Way, Anvart's latest up down FuMO30, DF Antenna, Flags and Pennants test. The "Twisty Periscope" mod Flakmonkey's Type 7C lightmaps. All of which alter the turm.dat files. These with brett25's new High Res conning tower textures (the latest version to work with the new lightmaps). I probably missed a mod but the above , IMO, would be absolutely fantastic.
