1. Basic uboat controls. e.g. Rudder, compass, Depth under keal
2. AI stalkers to stop stalking.
3. Morale bug.
4. AI to stop raming into walls til they explode.
5. Watch crew to not ignore contacts.
6. sonar not to pick up sound contact while on the surface.
7. Remove the mouse over contact helper that tells you the speed etc. of the target if you play on realistic settings.
Plus many more.

#1 thing would definitely be fixing the morale issues, but I hope that's already a given.

I found this on ubisoft's SH5 forum, looks like a respons to a mail:

Quote:

We are currently looking into the outage of the SH5 servers, rest assured we will continue to update on the progress and give you a full report once the error has been found.

When it comes to various bugs and such found in the game, we are on a schedule to fix this now, and you can expect the first patch next week, Friday at the latest.

We will have a developer Q&A on this forum for one hour on Friday, where hopefully you will all get some information regarding how we will bring this game safely into the harbor.
Remember Neal, when reviewing: rate the game 'as is', not as it can be. Quite like IRL really, for a finished product.

Fixes:
Nvidia framerate issues and mouse lag

Any feature that is already in the sim that is not working properly, such as morale resetting, should be addressed before tweaking and/or adding new features starts.

Lol, I said one. :)

Awesome!

Q: Will you fix the game?
A: We agree that this would be a very immersive step for SH5 and so it's something that we may consider at a later date...most likely when we start milking you for the first paid add-on.
@Neal: as an observer, it seems to me the "morale bug" is having a pretty big impact on the game and is certainly not something that can be fixed through modding (it can only be worked around).

#1 thing for me:

realistic buoyancy for the ships and subs (this is the most important issue pertaining to the immersion factor) + improved realistic torpedo wakes.

maybe if the former is fixed i'll buy the game for a bargain

Number one thing for me is the performance hit when in the sub. My system meets or exceeds the recomended requirements in all but one area where it meets minimum requirements Geforce 8600 256MB GFX card. The frame rate drops so low you can count the frames when in the control room and the engine room. I thought that if it meets the minimum requirements it should be playable on the lowest settings :hmmm:

Arclight 03-07-10 09:24 PM

Just 1? Can't do it.

Missing command: Ability to switch off battery recharging. Kinda difficult to catch up to the ones that got away after surfacing after a submerged attack. (think mod fixes it, but important non the less)

Bug: Saving of weather state. Saved in the fog once, clear when I reloaded, got shelled by escort. :dead:

Possible bug: Stadimeter is useless, keel depth seems to be off in many cases as well. Wonder if this is simulated inaccuracy of known data, or bug. :hmmm:

No your video card is below the minimum system specs. and even if it did meet the minimum you would have to have all settings on low with a low screen res to make it playable. So you cant really complain about poor performance.

Minimum specs
Video Card (graphics): 256 MB DirectX® 9.0c-compliant video card (ATI® Radeon HD2600/GeForce® 8800 or better)

Recommended specs
Video Card (graphics): 512 MB DirectX® 9.0c-compliant video card (ATI® Radeon HD3000 series / GeForce® 9 Series or better)
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compliant soundcard
DirectX: DirectX 9.0c (included on disc)

Haha, that can be taken so many ways :DL

Interesting, though, how almost everyone has a different #1 issue.

Soviet_Warlord 03-07-10 09:46 PM

I'd say general bug fixes, interface makeover, and performance issues (Nvidia shadow bug) should be priorities for the patch.

Ha ha that'll teach me to rush through reading the system spacs on the pack, went something like this:

Processor, check
RAM 4 GB, check
HDD Space, Check
GFX Card 256MB Geforce blah blah blah hurry and buy it.

Ah well an upgrade is in order :salute:

Frankly, I see the morale system as an value added overlay for later, and not as vital core functionality.

I would prefer to make sure everything worked as expected before allowing Bernard's mood to throw a monkey wrench into the mix. If you don't know HOW and WHAT "as expected" even looks like, how the heck are you supposed to "fix" morale ?

IMO everyone should MOD morale out of the game at this juncture. Lets scrape some rust off before we put that coat of paint on...
