Nothing like living in the capital city of my country. Look at those blistering speeds we get here.

you must be on a telco ISP like DSL

I should be in the ballpark. But won't be buying the game with OSP.
It's DSL.

Speedy Gonzales.............Yeah right. :hmmm:

And this cost $30.00 per month. Just terrible but it beats dial up.

If I remember it correctly the savegames are also stored at your PC and not only at the Ubi-Servers. So if you don't change your machine after every save their should be no problem even with low-perfomance-connections. At least not with loading the savegames. ;)

Since I'm too cheap to buy up from the 6 mb speed on AT&T, this comes as no surprise to me:

At a number of preview sources, the issue was stated rather strongly that saved games can be saved online. The operative word being can, may, may volunteer. Certainly either the preview media was entirely misleading or these "online saves" are a moot issue of a likely disused feature.

Just to show off.

If Neal isn't having any problems, then I wouldn't expect I should either, but then we shall see I suppose. I'm still not thrilled with the idea of the DRM, but I've never been very good a denying myself something.

Would someone please explain the "Ping" part on the Speed Test? as mine was 10 ms ( ms= milliseconds? )

Whats that compared to D/L and U/L?

I know its off topic here but a few people were showing their online speed test as was I.

Thanks.

From there website :

What is Pingtest.net?

Use Pingtest.net to determine the quality of your broadband Internet connection.

Streaming media, voice, video communications, and online gaming require more than just raw speed.

Test your connection now to get your Pingtest.net rating and share the result with others!

Hope this helps
