:hmmm:

Except for what you could have used it for instead. That one always haunts me.

On the other hand, if you've already seen it and like it, how could it turn out to be a bust?

Nice post/link...I'll probably end up buying the bloody thing now :damn:

TarJak 02-09-10 05:22 AM

Got the DVD. Some good footage in it.

Kaleun_Endrass 02-09-10 07:29 AM

German version

There's a german version too:

1. Seewölfe
part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6

2. Angriff auf Amerika
part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6

3. Eiserne Särge
part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6

Sorry for the many links, there are no playlists for the splitted episodes at youtube.

Kaleun_Endrass 02-09-10 08:10 AM

Haha, I just noticed a glitch in the german documentary when Otto Kretschmer is mentioned. They say he sunk 38 "Flugzeugträger" (aircraft carrier) instead of "allied ships"...

I'd be buying them used from a third party seller... not concerned about the quality of the documentary, just the quality of the discs themselves and what shape they'd be in. I've bought books that way from Amazon vendors, but I book can take a bit of wear and tear and still be perfectly functional, DVDs not so much!

If the video is shown on Youtube then you have the right to download it. Am i correct :hmmm: Install Firefoxes download vid plugin then burn the series to cd for future viewing. No need to buy it if its shown on Youtube its then free for anyone.

I could be wrong but im sure that how copyrights work with youtube otherwise why would they bann certain vids and allow others.

im sure the quality of those you buy is much better but anything you download for personal use only is not restricted

Was this the stuff you were going to bring to Houston initially or that which you stated you would forward on after Houston? :hmmm:

TarJak 02-09-10 05:51 PM

Nah different ones. The ones I intended to bring were two 3 DVD sets. Unfortunately no-one trusted me with their address so its been hard to forward anything on since then.:88)

PL_Andrev 02-10-10 02:59 AM

I have another, also very interesting. A few days ago I watched a shocking document "declassified american submarine crew's war crimes on Pacific" (no link, document only for adults).

But what does this (and other films) have to do with SH5?
:nope:

Sanuck 02-10-10 08:05 AM

If you watched it ?
surely the link between SH5 and the documentry is obvious ?

I thought KL had furnished you with that information.

Jeebus after having slept with ya for a week I'd have thought the trusting element was reciprocal

Mind you, the rash and the spots have yet to heal :DL

PM sent :salute:

TarJak 02-11-10 04:42 AM

PM received. You'll need some ointment for that rash. It took ages for mine to clear as well.:O:
