Been snowing here off and on for the last month. I'm so used to it that I never even thought of posting something.

Beautiful shots!

Well, I have naturally a hope to have it as an extra job one day, and yes, that's why I mark my photos with my webadress. Feel free to pay the site a visit. I have my photo site as an online portfolio, as reference if anyone interested in using me as photographer can check out my talents.

I actually did sell one photo last February to my local newspaper, but the photo director cheated me, because I was unaware of the rates. I checked later. He should have paid me more. Or rather, I should have demanded more. Anyway, it taught me a lesson. I know that now for the next time.

Been there, checked it, loved it, and bookmarked it.

Those are gorgeous pictures Carotio. Especially the one with the frame house.

Somehow the snow looks prettier in Denmark than it did this time last year in the Seattle-Tacoma area, when I high-centered my car in the stuff trying to get to work. :D

I loved the rail shots being a foamer :03:

Great pics.

Believe it or not, it looked like that for about 48 hours here in East Texas a couple of years ago.... IN THE MIDDLE OF APRIL no less!!!:yep:

it all went away a little over a day later when the 78 degree temps came back.

it was strange.

We almost never get snow here.:shifty: and if we do, its just a VERY slight dust...

GoldenRivet 12-16-09 10:44 PM

I can count on one hand the number of times in 30 years it has snowed where i live.

Loved it as a kid.

HATE it as an adult. it looks beautiful, but it can make life a pain in the arse.

Well that's what you get from living in a bunker.

Very nice although I can't really say it's anything I don't see every winter, especially coming from the north of Finland. :) I think this is a cold spell that originates from Siberia or something.

I like those German-style houses, don't know what they are called. And the shots with depth perception. Denmark looks nice, haven't visited but would like to.

Having worked at a newspaper I know that it's always good to consult some of the other photographers, to get info about rates. It's best if one can get in as a 'house photographer' as opposed to as a freelancer. I can see you have skills so anything is possible.

Exactly the same in our city, -21C

I HATE WINTER :x

We had snow strangely early (December 5th, I think) here in the D.C. area, but it melted pretty quickly, like it normally does. On balance, this is a warm climate.

Right now it's 23 degrees F./ -5 C. w/the windchill, outside.

If I were fabulously wealthy, I think I would buy part of the Atlantic wall and convert it into my personal abode. Of course, only if I didn't get an airship or some other pie in the sky thing.
