???

Works fabulously with my Vista.
AU, USA and original UK version.

Back online

Server is back online, resume downloading. Accidental hard shutdown in an automated facility...3 days or $300. I took the 3 days.

Sry to hear about the downtime, downloading commencing:up:

Shearwater 10-01-09 07:30 PM

I had it shelved for over 2 years and downloaded the image a few days ago (I could never get my own version to work with the gold patch). Doesn't this version include battleships, or am I mistaken?

Armoth 10-02-09 07:39 PM

It does, but I think it has to be unlocked somehow. I havent quite figured out what the requirements are to do that. Maybe someone with knowledge could post on this

Thanks for making this available. I actually bought the game back when but
never installed when I saw it had SF on it. A previous bout with SF fried my
CD burner and I had to replace it. I am having trouble installing the game though.
I've D/Led this file twice now (thinking the first was corrupted) and each time I try to install I get a
"...is not a valid win32 application". I burned it to disk as an .iso and tried win2000 and win98/ME compatibility but no joy...
Anyone else have this issue? (I have XP sp3 btw). The total data on the cd reads 727,349,248 or
693 mb. Can anyone confirm this against their own .iso?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Same issue here Stagger, burned it down and get same error codes but I am unable to make it work:damn:

That's strange. All I did was to change the file ext. to iso, Extracted the archive file to the same directory and ran the autorun file. The installation worked fine.

Staggerwing 10-05-09 07:03 PM

I tried that too. I'm wondering if there is some kind of corruption with the files.
I had to try several times before getting what I thought was the whole thing...

EDIT:
It was definitely a bad download. I tried one more time and, as they say, 3rd time's a charm.
I was able to install simply by unzipping the files to a folder and running the installer. Good luck all!
