A census worker is found dead in a tree with "fed" carved in his chest. How is it a stretch to believe that he was murdered by someone harboring anti-government sentiment?

But no, let's ignore the facts. He carved "fed" into his chest before he hung himself in order to smear the extremist right wing wackjobs...errr... I mean "true American patriots whose voice will be heard by the Kenyan usurper!". He was hypnotized into this act of self sacrifice by Obama's hypno eyes during the President's "stay in school" speech.

Not willfully blind nor do I jump to the first conclusion that it was a 'text book' lynching with all the trimmings like pointed hats, burning crosses and wives wondering what happened to their white bed sheets. The information provided was so damn sketchy you automatically claiming it was a text book lynching certianly drew my attention to how this thread will go. :doh:

And if the facts aren't in evidence then you invent them? Where does it say "carved"? All I saw in the report was "scrawled" and "written" and you can do either of those with a marker.

I dont remember the words "carved into his chest" in fact I believe they did not state how it was marked. It could be a magic marker for all we know.

Carved, scrawled, written, you're all ignoring the point: the word "FED" was on his chest, and he was hanging from a tree- dead. In the long-term analysis of a case like this, how it was written is irrelevant. If we were trying to analyze the psyche of the person who did this crime, then it would matter. But right now, the cops are focused on collecting as much evidence as they can from the crime scene; primarily fingerprints, DNA, clothing fabric samples, etc. to catch their suspect.

This really is a damn shame too. Just doing his job and he gets killed. Seemed like a nice guy too. Saw this on the New Zealand Harald of him giving a lecture on sound waves to a 7th grade science class:
