I find it hard to believe that anybody is that stupid. There must be a method in her madness. Perhaps this is one of those things where a policy is put into place with the knowledge that it will be diobeyed, just for liability reasons. Maybe that's why she didn't want to talk about it....:hmmm:
Or perhaps the town is uniquely suited to pursuit with patrol cars, with lots of open space.

I have a feeling that its' the former. If so, it indicates that a lot of officers are faking or exaggerating injuries sustained while in pursuit. She may just be trying to discourage them from doing that.

So how does a small town police dept with only 5 policemen manage to wreck two cars and and have 5 officer injuries in a short time?
So while they are kicking out the mayor kick out the cops too as either they are just pretty crap or they are on an insurance scam.

Hmmmmm 3 police injured in foot chases over 2 years and a couple of cars damaged over who knows how long....yep really evidence of incompetence or insurance fraud:nope: ,more like the normal things that happen in policing.

How much does anyone want to bet , when something happens to her or her family and friends , and when the cops don't pursue the bad guy's ,she'll scream for the cops blood because they Didn't chase them...

I just wonder why this "city" which most people would call a village even needs its own local police force.
It seems like a crazy waste of money and a duplication of services to have four seperate local police services all covering the same area.
Plus of course on such a tiny localised scale you get the village idiots running the budget and policies.
