Maybe, but don't forget this is war, and in war S*it happens.

How could you tell they were UK bullets?

The Taliban uses anything they can get their hands on so caliber alone isn't all that definite.

Top marks to the British special forces.

If it was SAS then they embraced the regimental motto:

WHO DARES WINS

And UK deaths mean nothing to you?

200 Finns committed to the Afghanistan conflict. (set to be reduced back to 100 btw)
200+ UK Forces men and women already dead during Afghanistan conflict.

Perhaps now you understand why we don't want anymore to be risked.

All deaths are significant to me. The whole Afghanistan war has been going on now since late 2001 and so far I haven't heard any estimates of when any troops will get out. Or what the victory objective is. Looking at how the war in Iraq has gone I have very little confidence in the US-led coalition that Finland is a part of in Afghanistan.

Total of Iraq and Afghani civlian casualties numbers in several hundreds of thousands, maybe even 1 mil + or even 2 mil + counting all deaths caused by the wars. Those are genocidal figures. Why did they die? Are their deaths worthless? Will there be a war to avenge their deaths?
