FDP is the mainstream liberal party. 60% Republican, 40% Democrats, so to speak :D

Terms do not mean much anymore. The Christian-Conservatives CDU are in parts more left than the Social-Democrats SPD, and the Liberals FDP are more right than the Conservatives CDU, while the Green have become a mixture of both. Only the extreme left "Die Linke" stands out, featuring both dogmatic communists and many sympathesizers of the old SED regime, it also tolerates sympathesizers of terror groups like FARC. Nice company.

So it matches the other political test, for the most part. I guess I'm pretty much main stream.

EDIT: Perhaps I'm the 'pragmatic-nationalist':D
