Yeah, I don't like to use the ignore function either. Only one person has earned that distinction so far. :03:

I'm not saying you should use it, but I am suggesting people should use it instead of complaining about having to read posts by the select members they dislike.

Give your momma a Texas big hug, and my regards. And make sure she understands this forum spamming situation :shucks:

I think the only reason for a person to click on a thread started by someone who they know is going to irritate them is because they want to be irritated.

People just love conflict ... then they loving bitching about it.

GoldenRivet 09-02-09 11:56 PM

I must agree with Dowly here.

we need a politics only forum here.

this way the GT threads can be about things like the purchase of a new pet, new car, discussing our real life issues etc

without having to pick through all the politically related threads.:yep:

Task Force 09-02-09 11:59 PM

agreed... we need a political section...

I say we need to start a vote... to or not to start a political section... and see what everyone thinks...

MothBalls 09-03-09 02:49 AM

A political section would be good.

Why not test it for a couple weeks and see how it goes.

Would be kinda fun, like throwing a mongoose and a snake in a room and watching from the window, or watching a sword-fight with flamethrowers.

OneToughHerring 09-03-09 06:33 AM

Problem is it would be difficult to keep the non-political board politics free. Eventually politics and general bitchiness would creep in.
