Ha. Its funny cause DDs rarely even hit me w/ a Dc and yet im SO close to it. and OMFG Ive gone to 85 M to escape a DD one time and THE DC HIT ME IT FREAKING HIT ME> I WAS OMFG and In 5 seconds the Hull damage became like 50 then 100 and i was Dead. I Couldnt BElieve that. And that story is Questionable. like How did the DD not see you. whenever I do night attacks its BS cause the dds see me almost immediately and i always have to dive. and i think its rare to have a dd speed up 5 seconds be4 it hits. usually i fire one torpedo at a warship going 5 knots and 5 seconds later hes going 17 knots. Miss. i tried manual TDC recently and i found that the data from the instruments BLOWS. i just wait till the target is like 600 M then i do the Reset on my TDC and Esimate MYSELF where the targets gonna go.
