Haha, I heard Obama mention his in this New Hampshire town hall meeting today. I have to agree with the President, I really am amazed at the level of willful ignorance that it takes to elevate this to an enemies list. :rotfl:

I'd have said it was more a "a valve that diverts exhaust gases away from the turbine wheel in a turbocharged engine system. Diversion of exhaust gases regulates the turbine speed, which in turn regulates the rotating speed of the compressor. The primary function is to regulate the maximum boost pressure in turbocharger systems, to protect the engine and the turbocharger."
