Because it would be giving credence to lunatics, racists and those searching for an acceptable way to say a "dadgum (n-word) can't be president". And it wouldn't make a difference because these people have created their own reality where facts do not hold sway and they would dismiss it out of hand as a fake, phony and forgery, just as they've done with the official Hawaiian birth certificate that's already been supplied and vouched for by the state.

The whole movement is calling the State of Hawaii a liar and saying they're complicit in a plot that was hatched 50 years ago to put Obama in the White House. If that doesn't scream crazy, I don't know what does.

Then what about his comment about his white grandmother being "A typical white person".

I'm not saying Obama is a racisist but I am saying he is a product of his upbringing and holds certain points of view when it comes to race.

So who has the race card in their deck?

Maybe it wouldn't make a difference to the conspiracy theorists, but like the "WTC was destroyed by Bush and Cheney" types from the Daily KOS and Democratic Underground are rebutted by solid facts a little proof goes a long way in removing any doubts the rest of us may have.

See above. Crazy to me is continuing to give the idea a leg to stand on by refusing to release the original document.

I would venture to guess people do not show to a Klan meeting stating I'm only an innocent bystander. Take it for what it is worth.

You know when I have a week where I am just not getting enough crazy far left loon stuff, I start to get worried that they are being quiet as they build to something really big. I still think I am right on that, and we have not heard a lot from Crazy Nancy lately, which makes me suspicious. But the other night a friend sent me an email that was a forward. I often delete these without reading them, but coming from her I am certainly going to give it a read. And it was a quick blurb about a piece of legislation that Pelosi is pursuing. I read it and thought, that is too good to be true, she actually said that? Then I remembered it was Nancy. So I started researching, and here is what I found.

Let me begin with stating what the email was claiming. The email I received was:
