Some uses Misfit Model 3D, others uses 3D Studio Max. Goes with your needs. As for the steps, I'm not very good at that but others can answer you.

Yes that sounds good, but I still need the permissions to release it, this new model is actually a mod for a different game, and I am not sure how to contact the author. Im still working on the 3D wheelhouse also.

No, that ship was created by a modder for allies pacific storm, which bring up the issue of permissions, still havent got them yet. I will be looking into IL2 ships and possible conversions later today.

Actually it was Pacific Storm:Allies. I've used to present this title on behalf of Lesta Studio at official and other naval forums. Free modding activities were officialy allowed in 2006 with tool pack released. Right now this project is officialy closed and abandoned by the developers. Could they ask user : Devj if we have permission to use the Shoho in SHIV, when i try to log in for some reason it tells me I have an incorrect username and password.

Well, I have messaged the guy, and I know he still goes on the forums, but he has ignored my permission request (dosent seem friendly), I don't know what I should do, any advice would be appricated. It is also getting closer to the release of my ship pack, and I based the Ruyho off that Shoho model.

Bringing this up again, until somebody tries to contact the guy I mentioned earlier there WILL BE NO NEW SHOHO OR RUYHO, I have tried to contact him with no success, so its up to you guys, if you want the carriers than you can contact him, they are allready built, so its all up to him I release them. The ship pack is coming up soon by the way.

There is a Shoho in the latest version of TMO and it looks very good. Don't know who did the modeling tho'.
