This one is really cool and it will give you an idea that me and my daughter were about 15 feet from this aircraft. Note my daughter says she sees something leaking. I believe it was some water as it rained the night before. We sure did not smell fuel but we got a good face full of exhaust!

And this is us enjoying the A-6 trainers. Note, me and my daughter are about arms length from the wingtip. The pilots waved back at my daughter as they taxi by.

That's totally cool. I wish they'd do something like that out here on that scale. I've been to a WW2 re-enactment (which was interesting:doh:). All of the German re-enactors were doing SS units:shifty:. unfortunatly for them, a holocost survivor was in attendance, and spat on them, then gave them a piece of her mind.

Thanks! It is such a fun day and the reason is you are right in there with the plane operating and talking with the pilots/owners. It really is something and the first time I went (last year) I was completely blown away. Not for the fact that I was finally seeing these planes operate but being able to stand right up on them feeling the prop wash and smelling the high octane aviation fuel burn. All the pilots are just as friendly as can be and love to share their joy with you. The hospitality is incredible. I do my best when on the Torsk with visitors to make them feel at home and glad they decided to tour the Torsk. It just makes them want to come back or tell a friend to make a visit.
