Way to see it! :D I admit in my late teen years I read and watched everything labeled as "SF".

And now, twice as old, I am returning to that habit: I currently buying off second hand SF novels that I missed in the 70s, 80s. Much of them are nbo longer in print, and SF book releases since the 90s are crap for the most. currently I am into David Brin. Next will be a recommendation by friends, Gregory Benford. Does anyone know them?

If they remake V maybe they can actually finish it.

I'd rather watch "The House of Elliot"

nikimcbee 05-21-09 07:16 PM

Ha, I remember all of those scenes:up:. Remaking it as a new series, though...:hmmm::-?

Hey hollywood writers, how about you come up with an original idea, instead of remaking everything. I'm still waiting for the remake of Titanic myself.

I think they'll ruin it, in this age of PCness:shifty:.

I won't elaborate. [insert obama influence here]

I rember V had that really WTF ending where this little girl who was a halfbreed suddenly had omnipotent powers randomly and saved the world from utter destruction. It was like the writers couldn't figure out how to end it and just pulled it out of their ass in the last five minutes so they would have something for the director.
