looks like one or more of the .bin files is/are corrupted. I recommend a redownload of all files [.bin & .exe] and thereafter do a md5 check. http://www.thegreywolves.com/ Cheers, SquareSteelBar |
Hi,
ok here is the result: I downloades the GWX_full.exe (1,4 GB) I downloaded it twice on both machines (Laptop and PC) Same error on both machines.... The original sh3.exe (after the install) has a size of 1.331.200 Bytes I use a retail version (already patched 1.4b). Maybe GWX can not work with this one? Can maybe someone check it or send me the patched 1,4b exe so I can run a test with this one? |
I got always issues with that single file installer -> wrong md5 checksum.
Did you do a md5 check? The checksum has to be: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e |
Ok, I 'll check it this evening!
What the best md5 check programm? I found a few via google...? |

Checksum is correct! I still get the errror...:damn:
|
well I wonder is there some one who uses the same SH III Version?
I think I got the "retail" or "gold" Version... Maybe GWX is not working with this version? :ping: |

What OS do you use? If it's WinXP I recommend to uninstall and delete all SH3 and GWX stuff; after that do a registry cleaning: SH3 RegCleaner for WinXP only Then try to reinstall from scratch... |

We are still trying to solve the problem!
