Yeah that's what I too thought at first, until I got to try head-tracking for a while. There's no way I'm going back to flying without it now. It's just about as essential as a joystick.

Yea. I am still useing my mouse/joystick cap to look around. Real pain in the butt. lol.

So your joystick also has one of those buttons to look around with? I love those things. I could never have dreamed of playing Red Baron 3D's Full Canvas Jacket without one...

Out of curiousity, how is TrackIR supposed to work, anyway? I mean, I don't entirely understand the concept of how it could provide a full 360* view of one's environment without you having to take your eyes off your computer screen...

Technical stuff like this boggles my mind, if you haven't noticed. A sign of the times compared to what I grew up with...:haha:

TIR ampfilies your head movement, so if you are looking just abit to your left IRL, in-game you are looking directly to your left, move your head slightly more to left and in-game you are looking behind.
