which dat file am i looking for?

i tried looking in the library folder and i see nothing there i recognize as what im looking for so i checked particles.dat and didnt find anything.

i also checked the dat files in the submarine folders but see no "VisibleUnderWater" nodes.

i dont know anything about controllers so i dont know where to look or how to look.

You speak about flags ...
accordingly dat-file with flags ...

yes, i am sorry

i was taking about making flags disappear on sinking ships but at the same time im trying to also make uzo disappear when you submerge and reappear when you surface.

i thought it would be the same solution i use to do both of these things.

also i am thinking if flag is deleted, how can i be sure it will delete only that ships flag and not all flags of that type ship? as example two of the same ships in convoy and i sink one, will flag on both ships disappear?

Simply try ...
When you use VisibleUnderWater controller you do not ask yourself a similar question?

i would try if only i knew what dat file i am supposed to be using :damn:

i greatly apreciate your help but you talk like i already understand what i am supposed to be doing and i do not. i dont understand all this like you do.

let us just fix uzo for now, i want to make it only show when on surface and not underwater so where should i begin and what files are we working on?

You do not know where is UZO?
Look (for example) ..\Data\Library\GerSubParts\Senzori_UBoot.dat ...
67:Node - NSS_UZO ... (through S3D) ...
