First off Welcome Aboard, I usually use 3 torps for a T-3 tanker. Good hunting. Puts

had too use 3 today, quite wierd Thought those should be fully laden with oil.

Over and Out!

Welcome aboard Skipper!:salute:

I myself use three torps usually. I put one into each cargo hold and one bellow the funnel. If they don't do the job, the middle (under-funnel) torp usually totally kills the engine room, make them stop and since they are dead in the water, a fourth torpedo is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.

Thanks :)

and to reply to the man above you, just learnt it the ahrd way, got shattered into thousand pieces by a destroyers depth charge, poor Porpoise didnt stand a chance :p

Do the training missions in TMO, they are truly a gem, and will walk you through some DC evasion.

By the way, tater about the training missions. Those from Construction where you test our submarine etc? stuck on the deep diving test, sub wont go past 350 feet, target is 500 feet.

Can you drag the depth gauge needle lower? Or use the d key? Can't remember, think it's in the readme.

Depth gauge goes too 450 feet, fortunatly there was a button for Deep diving, allowing me to go past, unfortunately i went to far down and got squashed, but its working now :)

Welcome aboard. Dont know if anyones warned you about Benard yet, careful of him. He's crazy and usually causes more trouble than he's worth.

Ber, who?

Bernard is sort of the resident scapegoat crewmember who we blame when things go wrong on our sub. He started out with the U-Boats in SH3 but he seems to have migrated here. Just think Gilligan without the intellect and charm.

Last known artist's conception...

I saw this name pop up here and there, but now I'm confused. Is he a real forum meber (being thick as he gets) or just a running gag on these boards (judging by Torplexed's last post)?
