Maybe a silly question but just wondering if i add these ships to the roster, I take it you will only see them where they were historically. ie you wont see these Russian ships protecting an American or British convoy and would only see them around Russian waters or in Russian convoys?
Have to ask because Im not sure how these mods work.

Soviet destryers work in USSR water, except 8 leand-Lease destroyers what escort 1 convoy from england. But if you interesting summary lenght all soviet convoy path's was very large. For example convoy rout from Murmansk to Vladivostok was near 4000 sea miles, and from Murmansk to Seattle was near 6000 sea miles in one side only. But escort was in first part it's rout's. Soviet navy was small for large convoy escort's and seldom can escort domestic convoy's. If you can see in map you can see, that rout from Archangelsk to Dikson (for example) not very small.

No, they are always programmed like that. You won't see neutral destroyers escorting enemy submarines and friendly cargoes. That being said, you can sometimes see battleships or heavy cruisers on escort duty. This is perfectly fine, and you should by all means sink them.

Aparently "bigboywooly" has all of those units in a "dry dock" and we cannot enjoy them because they are but...not are...available for us (interesting) :hmm:

To be honest, I prefer to play the game instead of spending my time in these mods or re-mods or whatever you think :yep:

And, just to end....if you -bigboywooly- or whoever wants to increase the "inventory target" for all of us....EXCELLENT ...I will just play

Best regards :sunny:

PS: Sorry...thanks evan82 :)

No it means I have the Uboat Battle in the Med addon ( ships in the shot )
Appears Thor does too
Esp as his and their Churraca is the same bar some obj renaming which is why it didnt move first off

Bitterns have exact same digital IDs too

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...3&postcount=14

As I suspect do the others

So if you get the UBITM addon ( released 2006 ) - crap BTW - for about £2 these days you can have all of those ships
None are accurate though - not even the sloops\destroyers - and esp not the cruisers
Or you can wait for AH_Thor to release them one by one as his

Meh
Chioce is yours

I certainly wont be uploading them as came as part of a payware mod so not free to upload
However misguided and just plain garbage it was

AH_Thor 01-15-09 06:45 PM

Following up on bbwooly post - brillant post, as usual - BUT if there are enough people interested in having the major part of the above ships without costs...please let me know by PM, mail or tam.tam :)

Sincerely yours...
