I couldn't agree more. The Terminator was a closed loop, with the photograph a perfect ending. I wasn't such a fan of Alien or Predator, but what you say still holds true.

Another brilliant original that was actually ruined by the sequels: Planet of the Apes.

Which sequels are you talking about SS. Original Planet of the Apes series or the last one that flopped few years ago?

I can tell you what movie really disappointed me was Battlefield earth 3000. Not a sequel but really poorly written conversion from the book which I like a lot.:nope:

It looks like it will be a great movie! And the way it is filmed (More silver to give it an out of place look) has been quite impressive!

One thing that is missing of course is the laser guns that were the hallmark of the battle scenes in the first 2 movies.

The show managed to screw it up to making them look like plasma bolts than laser shots but still I hope atleast at the end we some in action.

I really like the first two Terminator movies. I really like the series on Fox. However, I think they should have left it alone at the second movie. I didn't really care for the third and just hope the fourth isn't as bad. Maybe the third wouldn't have been so bad if they had chosen someone else to play John Connor. Nick Stahl just didn't cut it, and when he put the gun to his head in the one scene I was actually kind of hoping he would off himself. :dead::88):oops::lol: The fembot in T3 was an interesting touch to say the least, but can there ever be a bot better than the T-1000? :lol:

Remember folks this is about the war. It is completely different than the "Bot trying to blend in to protect/kill someone" theme of the movies show.

That is going to turn a few people off. And some may not like how Connor is always shooting and less evading the governator but people have been waiting for decades to see more than a few mins of scenes from after Judgment day.
