I have to agree there. I never like it when the Brits do that trick to try and prove Americans are stupid but the Zogby poll on the other hand is illluminating. It also matches the impression i've gotten from the young people i've talked to.

It's so blatantly obvious that they edited out anyone who actually answered the questions properly. That video is a load of Right Wing crap designed to say that all Obama supporters were idiots who can't wipe their own ass. I'm sorry. But I don't see this video as a truthful documentary, especially considering who sponsored it. The filmmaker is a staunch conservative supporter and therefore everything he does is going to have that slant. I wouldn't trust a word from this stuped video any more than I'd trust hearing statistics from Rush Limabaug. :nope:

It was certainly difficult to judge the true nature of Obama supporters based on the random ones selected for this video ... So Zogby (A Democrat) and his people were commissioned to conduct a telephone poll to ask a greater number of Obama supporters the very same questions asked of the people in the video. So I do agree with August that we should always take a video with a grain of salt. However, in this case, Zogby obtained a much larger sample for us which affords it credibility. Republicans have tried to fund a reciprocal poll for Republican voters and Zogby said he wouldn't do it. Not everyone who supported Obama are lost. Some Obama voters actually heard the warped message of "spreading the wealth" and liked it. Although they are not informed enough to understand the negative impact of that on an economy like ours. But it's apparent that there are a vast amount of uninformed people who went out and voted for this guy because of his image, rather than substance. I saw it throughout the election myself as these voters didn't even ask Obama to clarify his policies of "change". It looks like many Obama voters didn't know what they were voting for at all. How about these results from Zogby asking Dems about their candidate:

57.4% of Obama voters could not correctly say which party controls congress. 82.6% of Obama voters could not correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot 88.4% of Obama voters could not correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket. 56.1% of Obama voters didn't know that Obama started his political career at the home of Bill Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist.

This shows massive gross ignorance on the part of these people. Now you have a measure of a statistically larger sample of some of the voters who went to the polls on Election Day awash in Obama hero worship.

I second that. I am leary of anything on TV, why; editing. They can show whatever they want. as for BO voters, (not in the video, just regular news) when the are pushed about why they like BO, they just give the hope/change answer. My dad voted for BO:nope: (and for the dumbest reason). I told him to "remember who YOU voted for on April 15th", when you get the checkbook out.:dead:

Actually this is a supported poll with a large statistical sample. It is not generalizing as it's a statistical model where they got the info. And it's frightening. Actually, the facts do support the premise.

On your other stuff, the system is a good system. The problem is that it is filled with corrupt individuals. Until we bring back the concept of accountability, it will be that way.

Really, it has turned into a Clinton White House again. Question is, will Obama lead or is he just a figurehead?
