Well thank you for your unrequested advice. I'm sure I speak for my fellow Americans when I say how much we value your opinion.

You do not speak for me August. :nope:

Take a hike!

I think August's opinion here is quite valid. A Euro opinion on our election has absolutely no value. As I'm sure they don't care how we view theirs. It is amazing to me how some of our members from across the Atlantic believe they have any weighting opr their opinions hold any value on how we choose our elected officials.

He said he is sure speaks for Fellow Americans. Well I am an American Citizen who was born and raised in Shreveport and August does not speak for me.

He can take a hike!

I think his view is highly supported by most Americans who think our voting process is important, should be conducted fairly/freely, and without foreign influence. Skybird calling for us to skip campaigning and voting is utter stupidity. And his opinion holds no value as he has no influence in our politics, and no voting power. It's a useless opinion.

I agree whole-heartedly with August. The fact that you would tell August to take a hike over a fair assessment as opposed to the usual Skybird lunatic fantasy shows me alot about you. :yep:

Feel free to make yourself an exception. BTW if I understand your objection that means you actually don't value Skybirds opinion, right?

Registered and cast my vote.

Voted for 'None Of The Above'.

What do you mean there's no such box on the ballot?

I demand a recount!

Koondawg 10-26-08 09:42 PM

I am registered and none of the people deserve my vote....thus you'll never hear me bitching about politics

KD

I VOTE none of the above...

Have you considered third-party candidates? :D

The deed is done, I just have to send it off by mail tomorrow (or walk it to the drop point at the sheriff's office across the way). It's all done by mail here in Oregon.

You mean as useless as answering to someones message while "proudly" stating in his signature to be a member of the same person's ingnore list?

But apparently you read my post so all is not lost, right?

Foruming 101: Forums are group discussions, addressing just one person is what PM's are for.

Hope that helps when you face me in future SH multiplayer... Otherwise.. ok...

And BTW the world does have influence over our politics. A little tiny thing called TRADE! But then again I guess you can make the point that because we export very little besides BS these days that is a moot point.

It is. You quoted Skybird and adressed him directly. Please re-read your own Forum101, especially the PM section ;).

I have voted, and mailed of my absentee ballot already. Since I live in California my vote for the Presidential waste has zero effect.
However, the state senate race is very contentious and so are some of the propositions.
